$ Adi Sukma

Fullstack Web Developer · Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia

Building real-world production web apps with Next.js, NestJS & TypeScript, end to end.

./about -- who I am

I'm a fullstack web developer who enjoys turning messy, manual processes into clean, reliable software. Over the past year I've contributed to several production systems, from a compliance platform that automates regulatory document generation to a customized e-commerce store.

My core stack is TypeScript with Next.js / React on the frontend and NestJS / Node.js on the backend, and I'm comfortable in PHP / Symfony environments too. I care about shipping features end to end: understanding the spec, building the frontend and backend, writing tests, and getting it to production.

I graduated in Information Systems from Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis STIKOM Bali, and I'm open to frontend, backend, and fullstack roles, on-site, hybrid, or remote.

PERSONAL PROJECT · FULLSTACK

Dewasa Ayu: Balinese Auspicious-Day Finder

Monorepo platform that converts any Gregorian date into the full Balinese Wariga calendar and scores it for six categories of Hindu ceremony, with a color-coded month view and the five nearest good dates for whichever ceremony is selected.

  • Dependency-free Wariga engine, cross-checked against an independent Balinese-date library across a 20-year range
  • Ceremony rules live in config objects: a new ceremony is a data change, not an engine change
  • Transparent scoring, with every factor behind a rating shown in the UI rather than just a verdict

CLIENT SITE · FRONTEND & SEO

Mebo Photobooth: Bilingual Local-Business Site

Fully prerendered marketing site for a Bali photobooth-rental business, with Indonesian and English served as two separate indexable URL trees and every call to action pointed at one conversion: a WhatsApp booking chat.

  • Two locales as two indexable URL trees, each aimed at its own market instead of translating the other
  • One conversion path: every call to action opens a prefilled WhatsApp chat, tagged with a single data attribute
  • Server Components throughout: the two client components render null and attach behaviour by data attribute

./hiring -- what recruiters ask first

When can he start?
Immediately. His most recent role has ended and there is no notice period to serve, so the start date is whatever the role needs it to be.
Where is he based, and would he relocate?
Denpasar, Bali, on UTC+8. He takes on-site and hybrid work around Bali and remote work anywhere, and he is not looking to relocate, so a role based elsewhere would need to be remote.
How well does his day overlap with other timezones?
UTC+8 is the same working clock as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Perth, an hour ahead of Jakarta, and an hour behind Tokyo. Eastern Australia runs two to three hours ahead, which still leaves most of a day in common. European mornings land in his evening.
What kind of role is he looking for?
Fullstack TypeScript, owned end to end: Next.js on the front, NestJS on the back, one person carrying a feature from spec to production. He is open to frontend-only and backend-only roles as well, but the fullstack shape is the one he is aiming at.
What matters to him beyond the stack?
Three things. Room to shape the spec and the architecture rather than picking up finished tickets. A team where testing and code review are routine rather than aspirational. And a product whose impact is visible, where a domain is worth learning properly instead of changing every few months.
